Ingredients & Nutritional Info
Below are some common questions about the ingredients we use.
Is your kitchen gluten-free?
Yes, our kitchen maintains a 100% gluten-free environment.
Is sugar used in your menu items?
There’s no added sweeteners in any of our food. We do include unrefined sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, and other clean paleo and keto-approved sweeteners in our baked goods, and some of our sauces. For detailed information check our nutrition page.
Is your menu dairy-free?
While our kitchen isn’t dairy-free, dairy is only used when specified and requested by the customer. We offer garlic grass-fed butter as a mix in option, and cheeses as add-ins.
What oils do you use in your dishes?
All our house-made items are free from seed oils.
We exclusively use cold-pressed single-sourced extra virgin Italian olive oil for cooking. For baking, we use cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil.
Our dressings and sauces primarily feature extra-virgin Italian olive oil. Aioli is made with cold-pressed avocado oil.
What quality ingredients do you use?
We source the finest ingredients to ensure every bite is nutritious and delicious. This includes grass-fed meats, hormone-free organic poultry, and pasture-raised eggs.
What seafood do you serve at Locanut?
Our menu features high-quality, responsibly sourced seafood. We currently use Halibut that is wild caught off the coast of Nova Scotia, and Wild Mexican Blue Shrimp, along with seasonal wild-caught King Salmon from Buena Vista Seafood. Since wild fish seasons fluctuate, the species we serve may vary. Check with us for updates as we adjust based on seasonal availability.
How do you ensure allergen safety?
We take every precaution to ensure a safe dining experience for our guests with allergies. However, our facility processes ingredients including eggs, nuts, shellfish, and other common allergens. While we follow strict protocols to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens. Please add your allergens to notes when ordering!

Shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the U.S. via UPS.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are based on UPS rates and will be calculated at checkout.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the selected UPS shipping method. You will receive tracking details once your order is shipped.
Please note: we ship Monday through Friday only.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link via email. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder or contact us at connect@locanut.com.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, reach out to connect@locanut.com as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to update it.

How does the Locanut rewards program work?
Earn 1 point for every $1 spent. Every 100 points = $5 off.
How do I sign up for rewards?
Sign up on our website and get 25 bonus points ($1.25 value) instantly!
Do my points expire?
No, your points do not expire, so you can redeem them whenever you like.
Can I use my points when ordering through Uber Eats, Seamless or other platforms?
No, our loyalty program is only available for orders placed directly through our website or app.
Do I get any special perks for my birthday?
Yes! You’ll receive $5 off during your birth month.

Can I use my loyalty points in the app?
Yes! Our rewards program is fully integrated with the Locanut app, so you can earn and redeem points when ordering through it.
Can I order through third-party delivery apps like Uber Eats or Seamless?
Yes, but please note that loyalty points cannot be earned or redeemed on third-party platforms — only through our app or website.
How do I receive updates on new menu items and offers?
Enable notifications in the Locanut app to get updates on new items, exclusive deals, and special promotions!

What areas do you deliver to?
We currently deliver within Manhattan only. If you're nearby, you can also opt for in-store pickup. But we're constantly improving, Brooklyn is our next goal!
What are available delivery days?
You can choose next-day delivery or schedule it for a later date of your choice.
Do you have subscriptions?
No, we only offer one-time purchases at the moment. But you can manually order as often as you need.
